Social Emotional Learning/Developing Resiliency Second Steps® SEL

Social emotional learning helps strengthen emotional well-being and increases resilience.

Social emotional learning is the process of developing self-awareness, self-control and interpersonal skills that are necessary for school, work, and life success. People with strong social emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges. Social emotional learning is connected to students exhibiting fewer behavioral problems, less emotional distress and fewer antisocial behaviors.
